ABOUT

Based in South Wiltshire, having studied Drawing at Falmouth University (2023-2026), I work across drawing, painting, printmaking and installation.

My practice questions the relationship between objects and space, furthering into a broader study of order and pattern in collective structures. I investigate space as what comes around, in between and within the objects I work with.

Drawing allows for an account of both complex, personal experience and basic visual processing. I consider empty space as an influence of how objects are perceived. My work attempts to reconcile the pull between drawing objects as they are, versus signifying the fragility that represents them.

My current work has manifested from my obsessive interest in collecting dead insects, particularly how arrangements of dead bees can honour the swarm. I find ways to hold (still) space for these habits of object-accumulation, whilst creating a new narrative for things considered dead and done.
